Prerequisites
The Zabbix API is web-based and enabled as part of the Zabbix web frontend. The Zabbix endpoint URL is required to set up the integration in Cloudaware. The URL should have the following format: https://zabbix.YOURCOMPANYNAME.com/api_jsonrpc.php or OR https://YOURCOMPANYNAME-zabbix.com/api_jsonrpc.php. Read more
1. Create
Set up user permissions in Zabbix
Log in to Zabbix → Administration.
Create a new Zabbix user called

. Set the password. Include the user to the group 'No access to the frontend'. Click Add.

Go to the tab 'Permissions'. Change the user permissions to 'Zabbix Super Admin'.

Click Add.
Add Zabbix endpoint to Cloudaware
1. Log in to your Cloudaware account and click Admin under your username.

Log in to Cloudaware account → Admin.
Find Zabbix in Monitoring integrations. Click +Add.

Fill out the form:

User - enter the user name (in this example api)
Password - enter the user password
