Zabbix API
The Zabbix API is a web-based API that is enabled as it is a part of the Zabbix web frontend. The Zabbix endpoint URL required for setting up the integration should be of the following format or similar: https://zabbix.YOURCOMPANYNAME.com/api_jsonrpc.php or https://YOURCOMPANYNAME-zabbix.com/api_jsonrpc.php. 1. Create a new Zabbix user called api and include it to the group No access to the frontend.
2. Change the permissions to Zabbix Super Admin.
Adding Zabbix endpoint to Cloudaware
1. Log in to your Cloudaware account and click Admin under your username.
2. Locate Zabbix in the list of Monitoring tools. Click +Add.
3. Fill out the form:

API URL is yourZabbix server endpoint URL
Click Save.
The green light in 'Status' means that Zabbix integration has been successfully configured. If there is a red light, please contact support@cloudaware.com.
