New Relic is a real-time application performance management and observability platform. This guide explains how to add New Relic integration to Cloudaware.
Add New Relic account
Log in to Cloudaware account → Admin:
Find New Relic Account in the list of cloud integrations. Click +Add.
Fill out the form:
WHERE
Account ID - New Relic account ID. Read more
Account Name - New Relic account name meaningful to use in Cloudaware
API Key* - click +ADD KEY to add a new user key or select one from the drop-down list. Read more

**Since Insights query API is no longer the preferred way to query New Relic data, it is marked as deprecated in Cloudaware.
Using API Key is recommended, as this option allows users to enable auto-collection of New Relic sub-accounts. However, you can use either one key (API or Query) or both for this integration.
Click Save.
4. Check the tab 'New Relic Accounts' to view the added account(s). The green light in 'Status' means that the New Relic account has been successfully added. If there is a red light, please contact support@cloudaware.com.
5. Check the tab 'New Relic Keys' to view the added keys. Click the three dots icon to edit the New Relic key details, e.g. to update or rotate keys.
