Overview

The Breeze agent is a scheduled task that streams OS-level data (users, services, mount points, etc.) into Cloudaware CMDB and seamlessly enables other Cloudaware modules such as Vulnerability Scanning, Patch Management, CIS Benchmarking, Event Monitoring and other.

Supported OS

  • Amazon Linux 1, 2 and 2023

  • Debian 8 and newer

  • macOS 12 and newer

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and newer (Note: Microsoft Windows Server Core is unsupported yet)

  • RHEL/CentOS 7 and newer

  • Ubuntu 14.04 and newer

Supported architectures

  • Linux: x86_64 and arm64(aarch64)

  • Windows: x86_64

  • macOS: x86_64 and arm64

Network requirements

  • requires outbound internet access on the port TCP 443 only

  • does not require any inbound connections and can be deployed on private networks and servers with no public IP addresses

  • On AWS, Azure, GCP and Oracle Cloud the instance metadata service must be enabled and accessible to the Breeze agent (access to 169.254.169.254 should be granted)
