The integration discovers SNMP- and IP-based devices connected on a local network.
Prerequisites
Cloudaware Breeze Agent must be deployed on a server routing to the discovery subnet.
Adding Network Collector
Log in to your Cloudaware account → Admin.
Find Network Discovery in the list of Monitoring integrations, click +Add.
To add a network collector, fill out the form:
WHERE
Name - set up a network collector name to distinguish the network subnet
Breeze agent - select the server where Cloudaware Breeze agent is installed for routing to the discovery subnet from the list
Subnets - insert IP address(es) of the subnet(s) in the format 1.1.1.1/24 (these will be displayed as network segments)
SNMP profile - for initial setup leave ‘None selected’
Click Save.
4. The green light in 'Status' for network segments means that Network Discovery integration has been successfully configured. If there is a red light, please contact support@cloudaware.com.
5. For discovery of SNMP-enabled devices (optional), set up SNMP profiles. Select the tab ‘SNMP Profile’ → Add Integration. Fill out the form:
Name - set up a meaningful name to distinguish the SNMP profile
Version - select SNMP version*
Community - insert SNMP community
Port (optional) - insert the port where SNMP is set up
*In case of using SNMPv3, insert values for User and Password and select Security Level, Authentication Protocol, Encryption Algorithm, and Encryption Password.
Click Save.
