The following procedure explains how to add a new record using the Amazon Route 53 console.

  1. Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the Route 53 console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/route53/.

  2. Click Hosted Zones and select the domain you wish to configure.

  3. Click Create Record Set to add a new record, then select a correct record type.

  4. Leave the Name field blank and enter the A record value provided in the request in the Value field.

  5. Select desired Time to Live (TTL).

  6. Click Create
