Add new DNS record

The following procedure explains how to add a new record using the Amazon Route 53 console.

 

1. Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the Route 53 console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/route53/.

2. Click Hosted Zones and select the domain you wish to configure.

3. Click Create Record Set to add a new record, then select a correct record type.

4. Complete the following details as provided in the request:

  • Fill the Name field

  • Select the correct Type from the drop down list

  • Select desired Time to Live (TTL)

300 is a default value

  • Enter the value in the Value field.

5. Click Create
