Log into your Cloudaware account. Click ''Compliance Engine'' in the main menu under your username.
Cloudaware Compliance Engine includes the following sections:
Policies:
- Policies List (1) with all the deployed policies listed
- Built-In Policy Templates (2), the collection of policy templates available for deployment and customization
Search for a certain policy by name using the search bar.
Filter policies by Object Type, Severity or Labels before deployment using the filters bar.
CIS Benchmarks:
- AWS Foundations containing CIS Benchmarks for Amazon Web Services
- Azure Foundations containing CIS Benchmarks for Microsoft Azure
- GCP Foundations containing CIS Benchmarks for Google Cloud Platform
The counter above shows the breakdown of policy checks by status. Note that tabs are clickable.
All checks are subdivided into logical categories: Identity and Access Management, Logging, Monitoring, Networking. Each category is marked with a percentage based on compliance checks under this category.
Setup
The tab 'Output Objects' contains the list of available output objects that can be used in custom policies. Policy Violation and Benchmark Check should be checked for Cloudaware compliance policies and CIS benchmarks policies correspondingly.
Click ''Edit'' to review the set of fields each output object type has.
