Active Directory (LDAP)
This guide explains how to add Active Directory (AD) into Cloudaware using LDAP server credentials.

Prerequisites
If Active Directory is publicly accessible, ensure you use the required LDAP credentials.
If Active Directory is running in a private network, configure the TunHub gateway before Active Directory integration is added to Cloudaware.
Add Active Directory using LDAP

Log in to Cloudaware account → Admin.
Find Active Directory (LDAP) in the list of cloud integrations. Сlick +Add.

Fill out the form:
WHERE
Bind DN - distinguished name of the user for Cloudaware to access Active Directory
Host - the host to access Active Directory (if AD is private, use the host assigned in TunHub Gateway, e.g. tunhub.cloudaware.com)
Port - the port to access Active Directory (if AD is private, use the port assigned in TunHub Gateway, e.g. 1234)
Password - the password for the user for Cloudaware to access Active Directory
Base DN - distinguished name of the core LDAP object (select it from the list which is available after all fields above are inserted)
Click Save.The green light in 'Status' means that Active Directory integration has been successfully configured. If there is a red light, please contact support@cloudaware.com.
To view Active Directory and related data, go to Cloudaware CMDB Navigator. Select ACTIVE DIRECTORY in the menu on the left:
